Temple Votes

Temple Votes is committed to providing comprehensive voter registration, education, and mobilization efforts at Temple University.  It is a non-partisan initiative led by a committee of students, faculty, administrators, and voter education organizations.  We have been designated as a Voter Friendly Campus by the Campus Vote Project and NASPA!

Get Registered

Students can choose to register to vote at your address on/near or at your permanent home address. The most important things to consider are where you feel is most convenient and motivating to actually vote.

The last day to register to vote for the upcoming elections is October 23, 2023.

  • Check your current registration status
  • Register to vote - Note that you must re-register to vote every time you move to a different location on or around Temple's campus. This includes if you are moving out at the end of the year.
  • Check to see if you have already enrolled in the annual mail-in ballot request. If so, ensure that your address is updated in the event you are moving out of campus housing, for example.

Get Informed

Below are some helpful links about processes and what to expect, but if you have additional questions, email templevotes@temple.edu

Get Mobilized

Now that you are registered and informed, don't miss your chance to make your voice heard.  The 2023 Municipal Election is Tuesday, November 7, 2023.  If  you can't make it to your polling location on that day, be sure to request an absentee ballot or mail-in ballot based on the processes of the state where you are registered.
